I try to not put rants out in public and air dirty laundry. Don't want to invite any negative energy.

BUT

Pics For Design is completely out of control. Over the past year and very very strongly over the past 6 months or so; I have seen numerous posts on Facebook about artists not being paid for their work. Of it taking months and months for them to get their money from their products being purchased.

At first it was really disheartening to hear that artists that I admire and purchase from on a regular basis are not getting their money.

For #1 -- hello! Thats just not right.

#2 -- A lot of the artists are in places like Russia, Ukraine, Austria ...

And do not have the same luxuries that we have in the U.S.

Paypal for one. So they are really quite limited.

I was brought up to love, honor, respect, and admire fine art. Really, creativity or art in any form. So to see artists being ripped off like this is SO upsetting.

I don't know how PFD gets away with it. And they are based in Russia if I'm not mistaken.

They have made it harder and harder for artists to sell through there. They started requiring a specific amount of projects per month. And if that is not met they earn less of a percentage on their product.

Ummm, ok we can hurry up and eat, we can walk faster, we can talk faster.

Just let me know how you produce quality art FASTER!

I went over to PFD to request my money to be sent to me.
Well! Not as easy as all that. a 300.00 minimum is required first.
or you can go the Paypal method - but at 7%

Ok, so I decided to just spend the money I had in that account LOL

Upon being there I was shocked to find many designers (including mine) products on sale for .07cents! SERIOUSLY!!!!

OMG!

So on those purchases we earn what? -- like 4 cents!

This is absolutely INSANE!!!

Bottom line is --- if you have products at PFD. I would be pulling them out right away. I'm going to start deleting my files. Then my account with them.

If enough people stand up for whats right, they will have no choice but to conform... right.
