I have a new kit up. "I Thrive" it is in support of Domestic Abuse Recovery and Domestic Abuse Awareness.
I tried very hard to keep it upbeat, uplifting and inspiring. In support of recovery. Not the actual abuse itself. (hope that makes sense)
This is special and close to my heart. A young woman I know has gone missing in our town recently. I know she went back to her abusive boyfriend. There has been an enormous search for her including draining ponds, cadaver dogs, and the FBI. Not to mention all the countless hours of dedication from Law Enforcement and volunteer Search And Rescue teams.
She is just gone... It is now being investigated as a homicide.
Her name is Breanna Mitchell. She is 28 years old and such a sweet ray of sunshine. She reminds me of a glowing happy hippie type late 60's girl with fresh daisies in her hair. LOL Often barefoot in the middle of summer. lol
My kit is dedicated to Breanna and all who are caught in a toxic violent relationship.
Some get out. Some do not.
